Hi Everyone,Our class participated in this years law day poster contest which is put on by the Cape and Islands Bar Association. Every year they give us a new theme to discuss, then the students have to display what they've learned through drawing a poster. This years theme was the Magna Carta: Symbol of Freedom Under Law. We discussed why its important for people to have rights... and why those rights were put in place. Many schools across the Cape participate and this year I am proud to announce that our class has a few honorable mentions:

This Saturday there is a ceremony to congratulate all the winners at the Orleans District Court House. There will be certificates handed out, light refreshments, a tour of the judges chambers AND the winning posters will be hung up in the court house for the month of May!
The ceremony starts at 11:00 AM
